Don't forget about Samuel L. Jackson. Although he had a smaller part, he's a candidate for "Most Dull," and most of the time I forget he is even in Star Wars. They should have just made him digital like they did with Yoda.

"A Sith Lord???" is one of the worst - if not the worst - delivered lines in the entire saga.

All that was missing was a Daffy Duck double-take.

Yea, I have been giving them a shot(boy I forgot how tiresome a large part of AotC was).

Anyhoo, did ya notice how Anakin almost immediately recognized 3PO upon his arrival at the Lars homestead?

Hmmm.

What did Yoda and Ben originally say to each other as Luke's X-wing took off from Dagobah?
[P.S. I'll be tied up for the rest of the day, so I won't be able to come back and chime in for awhile.]
Anyone?

I need to learn to temper my interest when entering this thread. I log in and see 3 new pages of posts and immediately think actual specific word about this blu ray release has leaked out. Some day soon maybe...

Check the front page news first. If there's no specific news about the release, then we won't be talking about it.

I watched them. The Phantom Menace was so poorly done in HD it is basically unwatchable, just looks messy. Attack of the Clones looked MUCH better but is not nearly as good as TPM. Blu Rays will be a million times better though.

A LOT of things annoy me about the films, but I have to remind myself that TPM was made for kids, and ATOC for middle teens/tweens. So, as films I am not in their intended audience. They work if you take them at those levels, but if you are looking for something a bit more mature you need to sorta wait for next Sunday. I am not mocking them or anything, but the first two PT films are very cookie cutter/drama-less affairs imo. Made for kids. Which is not insulting at all. Up and the Toy Story movies were made for children and those 4 films are amazing.

That was a good line.

If you want to give one to HF "Bobba Fett??? Where???" is a pretty easy winner.

Yea, RotJ is full of them with this one being my toughest to sit through-

Han Solo: "Well, look at you! A General, huh?"

Actually now that I think about it, the reaching for the 'airsick bag' line would have to go to-

Han Solo:
"Did you tell Luke? Is that who you could tell?"

.

I dunno. Me and my friends constantly mock Harrison's delivery of that line. But yeah, he's pretty bad in RotJ.

No, there is another:

Han: Laugh it up fuzzball.

...and another...

Leia: Would it help if I got out and pushed?

...and...more...

Luke: But I was going into Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!

...and...my favorite...

Leia: I'd just as soon kiss a Wookiee.

Pfft! Why the hell not. You kiss your brother, so pretty much anything after that is fair game. What a little space *****.

My favorite line is from the set of The Phantom Menace:

Liam Neeson: "Hey George, can I talk to you about the script?
George Lucas: "Get back on your mark, meatbag!"

There were more props and models created for TPM than the entire OT. But still, yeah, the prequels were far too sterile and woodenly acted. Whatever, Beast feel free to correct me and tell me how accurate it all was given the current peaceful setting of the galaxy, and how the acting is (LOL) Shakespearean. I put a lot of work into that post last night and it was totally ignored, so I give up.

PS: This thread is almost a parody of Star Wars fans now. It's completely and utterly hopeless. I think the same exact argument has been had 500 times now, and not a single person has been 'converted' or has been convinced to steer away from their original opinion.
