If that's the way Darth Lucas wanted it, then those grabbing their ankles have no problem with the changes.

In dvd there doesn't seem to be many options for the prequel trilogy. There seems to be just one prequel trilogy dvd set:
http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Preq...5939609&sr=1-5

My question is if i buy the three prequels on dvd individually, am I getting all the special features that I would get if I bought the prequel trilogy dvd set?

If it's any help here are the links for the individual movies:
I: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Epis...5939392&sr=1-1

II: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Epis.../dp/B00006HBUJ

III: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Epis.../dp/B00005JLXH

Feeling that people should like all the movies equally is another form of bias. Any personal opinion is biased for that matter.

The reviewer talked about the movies and the changes well enough to show how he feels without letting his opinions on the movies cloud the technical judgment. I think that's a fair thing to do.

Warped logic indeed.

How'sabout... I like Godfather 1 and 2 a lot more than I like Godfather 3.

Is that a bias, or a preference?

No offense and I don't want to attack you, because you've said some reasonable things on here, but you aren't representing yourself very well with that statement.

IF GL had included the bonus features of the old DVDs..."Why did he include them?!?!??!?!?! Why waste the space!?!?!?!?!?!? He could've used that space to include....!!!!!"

Since GL did NOT include them..."Why didn't he include them?!?!?!??! We don't like the other features!!!!...etc...etc...etc..."

Basically, damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Any news on easter eggs??

"Better storage for discs" is my primary concern and, as such, the UK set wins hands down. The US set looks lovely, to be sure, but I will not store my discs - any discs - against cardboard if I can possibly help it.

Plus the UK saga set has the Yoda/Vader images from the separate trilogy sets on discs 1 and 6 :-)

I was thinking so too and I'm hoping for it. But I hope for the theatricals most of all.

But to be realistic, we're in for more changes with SW hitting theaters again for the 3-D versions.

All I know is that someone is buying . Even with Thor releasing today, SW The Complete Saga is still on top of the Amazon Sales Rankings (which reflect current sales).

Wasted space? They were made in SD. I have a difficult time believing that the bonus discs are absolutely stuffed, and that a few GBs couldn't be allocated for already existing bonus features. He was able to add the existing documentaries for the original trilogy, and the existing audio commentaries, so it just seems like a half assed effort, which, basically, sums up this entire set, in my opinion.

Any thoughts/ideas on how long after the release the price will drop for the Complete Saga? Will it be weeks, months, or a year? I usually, and patiently, wait for the inevitable price drop. Also, I've heard that the UK version will protect the discs better than its US counterpart -- so I wouldn't mind getting the UK discs as long as they are region-free.

Default ANY Chance Of Theatrical Version?

Is there *ANY* possibility of Lucas releasing the original theatrical versions of the the 1977, 1980, 1983 movies on Blu? Any hint of a chance of a rumor?

If not, I might have to bite the bullet and just get this release.

A lot of the guys would love to get the Original Uncut Trilogy, but nothing has been announced or rumored. Thus, the debate.

Any possibility? Sure.

Any hint or rumor? No, quite the opposite, actually.

Those who have the capability to enable any sort of Motion interpolation on their HDTV should make sure it's on the highest setting to maximize the PQ as it was intended.

I am really dissappointed the theatrical trailers are not included in HD. maybe these will pop up as easter eggs on the blurays.
