Default When are these Disney movies coming out?

Does anyone know when the following animated Disney movies come out? Is there a list somewhere?

Peter Pan
Bambi
Fox and the Hound
The Jungle Book (1 and 2)
Lady and the Tramp
Dumbo
The Lion King
One Hundred and One Dalmations
Finding Nemo

I'm looking forward to getting these for my son.

Thanks

Nothing as of yet on any one of those except for Nemo. Disney likes to take their time and release excellent Blu-rays of their classics not rushed half-assed jobs so it'll be a long wait but when it happens Disney won't disappoint.

If you look at Disney's Diamond Line it would go like this (these are surely coming out in the year mentioned; Aladdin was ditched from the line due to low sales and replaced by the Fantasia's):

2008: Sleeping Beauty (Platinum)
2009: Pinocchio (Platinum), Snow White
2010: Fantasia/(2000), Beauty and the Beast
2011: The Lion King, Bambi
2012: Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp
2013: The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan
2014: The Jungle Book, One Hundred and One Dalmatians
2015: Sleeping Beauty (Diamond re-release), Pinocchio (Diamond re-release)

http://www.movieweb.com/news/NEFcYLJJD4IzJL

Dumbo was announced by Disney as a regular special edition to be released in february, but postponed to somewhere in march. The Fox and the Hound could be whenever Disney feels like releasing it, since it's not in the Diamond Line, and The Jungle Book 2 is a direct-to-video movie - meaning that it'll probably not appear on blu-ray anytime soon.

And lastly Finding Nemo has been appearing on pre-order pages since 2008, but kept being postponed indefinitely. Now apparantly it has a May 1st release date in the UK - though that's highly questionable since it hasn't been announced officialy, nor is that day a monday or tuesday (which usually is the day new dvd/blu-ray releases appear).

Hope this helps a bit.

A list of all the Disney animated films can be found here with release dates if they have been announced.
Most of the titles you have asked about are pretty far off though, and have only been given estimated dates, nothing official. So salt accordingly.

Aladdin wasn't replaced by the Fantasia's.

Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Peter Pan and Fantasia were all added to the line some time ago, and at that time, Aladdin was still considered to be a part of the line.

There then came a lot of rumour that Alice was going to replace Aladdin, which all came to nothing, and finally, Aladdin was just very quietly dropped.

Shameful treatment of one of the classic Disney movies in my opinion.

I didn't mean Aladdin was replaced directly by the Fantasia films.

Aladdin didn't live up to the sales of the rest of the Platinum's, and therefore got booted. During the short period the Fantasia's were available on dvd, they apparantly sold really well - explaining why they were added. The adding of Alice in Wonderland to the line was just a simple rumor, never confirmed nor denied by Disney, probably even started on either Wikipedia or some foreign website.

My guess is that if Aladdin would have sold just as well as the rest of the Platinum Edition's it would have never left the Diamond Line. Which would've probably meant that the Fantasia's would've never been added either.

If they continue adding films to these new lines, all 49 classics are gonna be added sooner or later.

Went looking for a Disney Wish List thread and found this one. I updated your post in blue with the latest Blu-ray.com news info and in green with the titles that BD4ME's link claims is at least scheduled for released.

Of the others, I'm sure I've read speculation online that Finding Nemo might come out when Andrew Stanton's John Carter from Mars film comes to theatres in 2012, but that news is just speculation.

Only one problem there. Finding Nemo is Pixar and should be in a different category compared to Disney Animation. I don't care if Disney distributed it.

Beauty and the Beast 3D likely to bow theatrically in Nov/Dec 2011.
I would be shocked if the Diamond Edition doesn't get bumped.

I wonder what they'd release instead though?

101 Dalmations is also scheduled, as it is part of Disney's diamond line up.

Big Disney fan (and Pixar) knowing most (if not all) of the animated movies will see release (sooner rather than later would be nice!). Live action seems to be where the neglect lies, so let's hear it for:

Swiss Family Robinson
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
Darby O'Gill and the Little People
Mary Poppins
The Black Hole
Tron
Pollyanna
The Parent Trap

With the sequel of Tron coming, my guess is you'll see that one first. A Black Hole remake is apparently in the works too, so we'll see that eventually too.
It's sad that Disney (and many other studios) only use a remake or an anniversary to release a classic movie on Blu-ray, but I guess that's the only way to get some of these titles.

in the diamond line, you'll see Fantasia/Fantasia 2000, Beauty And The Beast, The Lion King, Bambi, Cinderella, Lady And The Tramp, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid, 101 Dalmatians, Jungle Book, Sleeping Beauty, and Pinocchio (maybe not in that order)

from disney/pixar you'll get Toy Story/Toy Story 2 (march) and eventually in 2010/2011 the incredibles and finding nemo

other disney releases announced include dumbo (spring), princess and the frog (march), james and the giant peach, a christmas carol (holiday season) alice in wonderland live action remake (summer)

as for releases as special edition dvd with no word on blu ray include alice in wonderland, the great mouse detective, and the black couldrn
