50" at 10ft is on the small size, I am 6.5' from my 50" even though my room is 12'X11.5'.

It might be just me, but I would definitely not get a 50" for my bedroom. At MOST I would get a 42". If you can still get your hands on the 42" Pioneer, I would do that instead.

EDIT: It wouldn't be too big for the viewing distance, but it would look ridiculously large in a bedroom. But maybe that's just me.

Yes I see your point. I done think BB has the Pioneer 42". I couldnt find one anyway. And i want 1080P unless Im getting the 50" 720P Kuro which is just as good from what Ive read. I don't think Pioneer's 42" is a Kuro either is it?

Pioneer makes two 42" Kuro"s: the standard Pioneer and the Elite (which I have) and they are awesome. BB/Magnolia carries both.

In the bedroom, size matters.

WTF is this "too big"?

Remember: If more is better. Then too much is just right

Not too big; in fact, you can go bigger. My viewing distance is also 10 feet and I almost got a 50" - I'm glad I convinced myself to get a 58".

I don't think 50" at 10' viewing distance is too big even in a bedroom. I'm planning on getting one for my bedroom later this year and viewing distance is about the same as yours.
