Angry Audio/Lip Sync on Panasonic BD-30

Hi there,

I've had my setup going now over a week, its all new by the reciever mainly BD-30 into a Panasonic Th46PZ85, with a yamaha RXV-650 amp. HDMI BD to TV, CO-AX to amp.

The problem i'm having is the Audio goes out from the picture throughout the film at the beginning it can be out or okay, but during the film the audio lipsync goes out and comes back again.

If it was constant I could understand it would be a matter of adjusting delays.

It seems most obvious on ID4, WAR and Almost famous so far. I've only watched a few films. Golden Compass was the first and I didn't notice anything or in U-571. DVD's seem perfect all the time, thus pointing me away from any delay solution.

Please help as I am at my wits end, and its spoiling the experience.

Thanks in advance

Tim

Welcome to the forums!

I too have the same player as you, but have never had this problem. I'm very OCD about the audio being out of sync and have yet to notice this. (thankfully)

Hopefully someone here can give you some good information on a starting point for this problem.

Thanks,

If I knew it was the amp or whatever that was at fault i'd upgrade, but why would it play DVD's okay?

I think the instuctions regarding audio out from the player could be easier to understand. I'm not a technophobe normally, I can usually figure things out, but when its on and off its hard to demonstrate to someone without looking daft.

could it be the amp that cannot decode the bitstream fast enough? Is there more data being transferred, and after a while it becomes saturated.

HELP HELP HELP!!!!

I've had lip sync issues on a few discs (Pioneer Elite receiver).
