Default PS3 Issue.. HELP!

Ok guys, i'm hoping i can figure out why i cant get picture and sound from my PS3 to my new tv at work.

My work just bought a new 26" LG LCD for my department. I tried hooking up my PS3 to it, but i can only get sound when hooked up via hdmi. No picture. I've used 2 different HDMI cables, both with no luck. The tv keeps saying "Invalid Format"

Its a 26" LG, model# 26LC7D

I've also tried hooking up the PS3 via the component cables, also with no luck. Only i dont get sound or picture with this method.

Im completely stumped as to why this is happening

Can anybody help me out here? Its driving me nuts, and i'd like to log some COD 5 time today!

while the PS3 is in standby (red light), press and hold the power button until it beeps a few times. This resets the video connection.

and make sure 1080p/24 Hz = OFF

Thanks CrackinHedz, im going to go ahead and reset and try it again.

I believe i have my PS3 set to automatically set the resolution, but i havent tinkered with that since i bought it in January of 08!

Your TV only supports up to 768p, so I am guessing the PS3 needs to be set to output a lower resolution. You should hook it up with composite cable temporarily and then change the settings, then go back to HDMI and see if that fixes it
