Default insignia NS-2BRDVD firmware update
"The firmware is designed to fix playback issues that you may be experiencing with some Blu-ray Discs. It also allows you to access pictures and music from a USB drive inserted into the USB port located on the back of the player."

Hope this helps out anyone with this player. Still no word of bd live support but hopefully soon in another update we will get that.
