Do you guys have some tips for the "normal" sneaking mode ?
I don´t know why, but I suck at being Snake...

What is the best way to play as Snake ?
(Crawling all the time, or crouch against walls etc.)

Best Equipment ?
(I always use Face Camo, Stun Knife and Sniper)


I´m getting so nervous all the time if an enemy passes me...

To get the figurine, you have to defeat the first armored firm non lethally. A Psyche kill while they are in the armor. Then the figurine will be somewhere in the level during the second part, non armored, for you to grab.

Just finished the game. Holy Crap, what an experience. I thought by watching the trailers, I would ruin it for me but every act is like a different game.

Just wondering, how do I destroy the suicidal gekkos with one shot? (going for big boss difficulty and I heard you don't get to buy ammos)

IF your just tryin to play it through and not accomplish anything to big, i would crouch alot and used the tranq gun, thats what i used alot, and i crouched throughout the game, and avoid contact asap

Hey, whats you guy's favorite boss fight in the Metal Gear series? Mine is a tough decision. Im torn between "The boss" at the end of Snake Eater, "Liquid Ocelot" at the end of MGS4, and Fighting Metal Gear Rex in MGS. Tough indeed.

PS: My honorable mention is the Screaming Mantis boss fight.....Genius!

2.LO vs Snake (MGS4)
3.The Boss (MGS3) (My god that was dificult)
4.REX vs RAY (MGS4)
5.Gene (MPO)

yes, but it implented stealth so well in a boss battle. amazing fight, plus the music was kick @$$.

by the way, nothing seems difficult now in comparison to the Late Boomer trophy on Super Stardust HD.

Gene was difficult aswell, as his charges took down like half your health and he threw knivs so you had to roll behing cover so you don't get hit

I'm a huge fan of the overall experience of the boss fight, so I would have to pick the following:

1. Snake versus Liquid Ocelot (MGS4)
2. Rex vs Ray (MGS4)
3. The Boss (MGS3)
4. Pycho Mantis (MGS)
5. The End (MGS3)

I really liked the choreography, what they did with the music and the setup for the Liquid Ocelot vs Snake at the end of MGS4. While the "battle" might not have been that great (Mortal Kombat -esque concept), the whole schem of it puts it at the top, and I found it very artistic and fitting as an ending to the whole series of boss fights.

Hmm, I finished the game with over 41 continue's. Was spotted 23 times.

I unlocked Altair costume, but didnt get corpse camo. Anyone know why?
I played in Big Boss hard mode.

Oh, i completely forgot about the Hind D fight with Liquid in MGS. That was pretty damn sweet too!

to get the corpse camo you must

1. Play on The Boss Extreme (unlocked after beating the game)
2. Have NO KILLS
3. Have NO ALERTS
4. Beat the game in under 5 hours.

It is very difficult.
