why would it come with the mummy? thats Universal and this is WB.

Yeah, I was literally starting to wonder whether Harry had spent too much time dropping his pants around horses to film it, and whether IMDb's November date needed updating...

Usually, we'd have had at least a teaser poster by February, but it makes sense that getting ALLLLL of the Dark Knight pre-hype out of the way first was a priority--
Batman had more pre-hype than three average Harry movies put together and the town wasn't big enough for both of them at the moment.

(Now, does anyone know when we'll see some teaser proof that Watchmen or Dragonball exist?)

According to MuggleNet reader Kathleen, Universal pushed to have the Half-Blood Prince teaser trailer in front of Mummy to give a little boost to ticket sales. Again, keep this in the rumor category for now.

Apparently some back room dealing may have been involved.

I know what you mean. Can't believe it's coming out in November. I don't think they had a break when they finished Order of the Phoenix. I think they started filming for HBP soon after.

From what I have been hearing they are already well underway with the two Book 7 (Deathly Hallows) movies as well.

No, its a race against time because Harry, Ron, and Hermoine are all growing up in real life and they don't want to have a 25 year old Daniel Radcliff playing a 18 year old Harry Potter.

Of course, they all want their millions quicker, but in reality, I think it is going to take quite a while to make the Book 7 movies so they need an early start. These movies are scheduled for release in 2010 (year-end) and 2011 (mid-year), from what I hear and this may not even be possible, feasible or realistic - don't know. They currently don't even have a script yet, nor do they know the "logical place" to split the two movies!
