Had the same experience today. Went by one of the local Target and they have an entire aisle in the movie section dedicated to Blu. Looks very impressive.

i saw this expansion today but for some reason they had all their blu-rays on one side of the electronics section and the blu-ray demo on the opposite side. seem weird.

Today, they had mostly filled up the empty spaces. There were a lot of movies there, just a few spots with nothing in them.

Yep, confirmed with the Seekonk, MA store last night that Blu-Ray has, indeed, been expanded!

My local Target does mostly MSRP though :/

I bought Ratatouille+RE3 there, and I vowed never again (until they lower prices) after seeing the total with taxes at the exit.

Almost $80 for 2 movies? I felt like such a sucker...

My Target has done the same. Their prices are atrocious though and I only buy from them when they have a good sale.

My Target on Veterans Highway, Metairie Louisiana has upped their Blu-ray isle too. The prices, as stated above, are very high and sales are highly anticipated.

We are possibly talking about the same Wal*Mart (maybe not, maybe all of the Wal*Marts in the Orlando area are doing this) but yeah I was shocked when they moved the Blu Rays to a glass case behind some video games, I will never buy a BluRay at Wal*Mart as long as there in that kind of case, I never buy video games at Wal*Mart because of that reason, I hate having to ask a worker to open up the glass case so I can get a movie out, sometimes I just want to read the back of the movie, but you can't do that at Wal*Mart due to the cases.

The Target near me has now added an endcap to the aisle that has the BDs. So now there is a whole side of one aisle and an endcap. They also have some free Blu-ray literature showing the benefits of BD. They added a new HD monitor too. They still have the original one by their DVD players and still have the small selection under the Sony BD player. I am sure they will be taking that down soon. Now, as for pricing, they have Blades of Glory for $34.99! Isn't the suggested retail price $29.99? Bee Movie is the same and so it seems are all of Paramounts new BDs. The Ruins was $34.99. I have purchased BDs at Target before, but I guess I will stick with Amazon from now on unless they can get their prices down.

Mine also added the new endcap to the aisle. Looks like that will have the featured new releases.

yeah my Target has added a new isle for Blu Rays, it's nice and big, but the prices are crazy, I never have bought a blu ray at Target and plan on never doing so unless they ever go on sale, I love Target, but $35-$40 for a movie is crazy.
