now what would be absolutely hillarious of them to do is to get everybody physched up about a Family Guy movie, then the entire movie is nothing more than Herbert (the old guy who likes children) just being Herbert.

Every show is a rip off of other shows or movies. A lot of fresh shows can be seen in some aspect as a ripoff of another show. I personally think Family Guy is a funny show, but at the same time there are way funnier shows out there.... like Venture Bros, The Boondocks and King of the Hill (different kind of comedy)

I remember going to friends' houses when I was younger, to watch Beavis and Butthead, because I didn't have cable (didn't have it until I went to college)

You could tell me in advance that the movie was all Herbert being Herbert (as long as the dog that drags himself around it there too) and I'd see it in the theaters....... if it's just the normal show, I'll wait for it to hit video

Hahahaha... I loved those episodes. Matt and Tre are so right! I never looked at Family Guy the same after that.

Still not a bad show though.

Mother that corrects the father/is slightly embarrassed by the father on a regular basis: check

Gee... I can't see where people would possibly get that Family Guy rips off the Simpson's at it's BASE premise at all...
