We are waaaay overdue for a Baratheon slip. How did we get a Greyjoy slip before Robert or Stannis? Crazy...

I'm going to have to disagree with you and agree with ck19 that a stannis slip is due for the future. Stannis is still around. I'm hoping I can get done with the books that are out. Plus, his sigil is not really a Baratheon one. I feel that next year since a lot of Houses are set and others still getting introduced, they need to get rid of Starks, Lannis, and Targa. My prediction would be Tyrell, Martell again, with Stannis and Bolton getting done.

We only have 3 seasons left or 4 slips to choose from. DAMN! Also, most of us don't even know how the books and the show is going to end. Maybe a Stark or Targ slip at the last season? lol

Now I'm starting to think that the order should be like this.
Season 1 - Baratheon (Maybe Baratheon combined with Lannister)
Season 2 - Stark
Season 3 - Lannister or Targaryen (Maybe skip Targaryen for future releases. Last Season)
Season 4 - Martell or Tyrell
And so on.

I think we're saying similar things. I wouldn't expect a [Robert] Baratheon slip now, but I would have expected it before a Greyjoy slip. He was the king after all. I also think we're overdue for a [Stannis] Baratheon slip. Hopefully they give us a Stannis slip in one of the upcoming seasons. And, this show is making HBO so much money, it wouldn't surprise me if they found a way to make it last longer.

I think I asked this before, but with regards to the upcoming Season 4 Blu-ray set, can anyone confirm if it comes with two code cards or two unique codes, one for the UV copy and one for the Digital Copy? Or is it one code that unlocks both the UltraViolet/ITunes versions?

Have to agree mostly. The later books especially just dont seem very well written despite being addictive. Not to mention the strange concept of the same timeline for different characters over two books - surely theres a better way?!

No one will know until either a review mentions it or we have the sets in our hands. It's 3 weeks away.

books 4 & 5 were originally 1 book, Martin split it into 2 books when it got to like 1500 pages.

that's why he split it between King's Landing mostly in 1 book and then everywhere else in the 2nd.

I wonder how long each of the exclusive featurettes are, I know the Walmart one is around 25 mins. If either Best buy or Target have theirs close to it then I'm probably going for the Target one with that nice looking book.

For trading cards, I think. These won't fit BDs.

Seriously? And to think I got all excited lol.

Best Buy had a slip cover poll for Season 3 that featured houses Tully, Tyrell, and Stannis Baratheon:

But those never came to fruition because fans voted to bring back houses Stark, Targaryen, and Lannister.

My heart jumped when I saw your post, as well...until I saw the product dimensions. I can only hope, for S5, BB gives a Stannis Baratheon!

Based on previous HBO releases, it'll be one code for both.

I'm currently reading both Books 4 and 5 because they happen simultaneously. I can see Seasons five and six covering both books, hopefully the sixth book will be out by 2017. If not, I can see HBO delaying future seasons until the books are out.

The shows creators are the only ones besides Martin who know how the series will play out to it’s end......Martin sat down w/them and walked them through every major character until the end of the series (books).

So they won’t be stopping and waiting for Martin to finish the books.

The book readers knew everything that was going to happen in the shows, but the people that only watch the show will know how the story ends the same time the book readers do.

A funny bit of karma there.

Who'sto say that Martin will keep the endings the same?
with so many plots and characters being omitted from the show a lot can and will be different in the books.

People need to get past this whole "delaying the show" notion. IT'S NOT HAPPENING.

This season will take us through books 4 & 5, and then we'll be in uncharted territory for the final two seasons.
