Which means you would have had a free copy to sell at full price recouping all your expenses. On top of this all your shipping would be refunded. Nothing about that was unjust or unreasonable. Instead you were rude, belligerent, and inconsiderate. So your account has likely been flagged. Next time read the fine print before you agree to the terms and place an order.

Importing is not a perfect science. Packages go through many facilities and many hands on their journey from the UK to you. And these companies aren't required to provide this service to you or me or anyone else. Nor are they required to do it for such a cheap cost.

I've only imported from Amazon UK twice, because I was always concerned about issues arising, but your quoted chat has totally changed my mind. If they're willing to be this considerate over a problem that will likely resolve itself, then I'm sure I'll have no problems on the off-chance that an issue arises. Time to make those purchases I've been putting off.

The amazing part is that he's clearly proud enough of the way he conducted himself that he posted it for all to see. That conversation made only one party look bad, and it certainly wasn't Amazon.co.uk.

If you're not emotionally equipped to handle shipping delays, it's probably best to stick to domestic releases. Saves those poor CSRs from dealing with angry, raging temper tantrums.

I only started to get snarky when they said I was out of luck and couldn't get the item i ordered.
I was fine with it being delayed. I just wanted to know where it was. Once they said they couldn't help, yeah, I got a little carried away, but it is bull the way that they handle stuff.
I've ordered from Amazon UK before but never had a bad experience.

I've ordered from them literally dozens of times because of Doctor Who. Half the time stuff comes before estimate, half the time it doesn't. You freaked after two days, which is nothing. I've had stuff from them come two WEEKS after estimate more than once.

You're being angry and impatient instead of chill. It's not something to brag about.

It was supposed to be here 2 days ago and is late, also fine. I just wanted to know how long it would be before it would come in.

It was when they told me that there is no way to know and that if lost, they can't replace it is when I bugged out.

Yes, I wasn't completely professional, but I've also been \having a bad few days in a row. It isn't an excuse, but it happens.

You knew (or should have known) that there wasn't tracking available for your order. And you also knew that the item was limited, so it being sold out shouldn't have come as a shock.

Me: How does expediting delivery make it to become late? That makes no sense.

Me: All you need to do is change shipping method, you don't need to alter the actual order.
