has anyone seen if Doomsday will be on sale anywhere? i've checked a bunch of different sources and it seems to be $25 or more. any info is greatly appreciated. thanks!

I believe PiNOY posted that family video has the cheapest price. I am getting this one at Best Buy, because I have a reward zone certificate. However, I will be interested to know if someone finds a cheaper price.

Yeah I used Family Video for this one, I couldn't find a lower release day price.

the only problem with familyvideo now is you pay tax and shipping. so it kinda works out to about the same as amazon. but that was the lowest "price" i saw as well.

I still haven't figured oiut why FV doesn't tax my orders (I'm not complaining!), esp since I am accustomed to being taxed for everything (Mass.). Shipping is free there with coupon code GAMEPRO7 (assuming that code still works like it did last week).

EDIT, sweet, my copies of Dark City & Doomsday arrived today (Tuesday 7/29).

I got it at Best Buy for $29.99.

Circuit City had it for $27.99 but didn't have it when I went by there. I didn't try anywhere else.

I'm still waiting on this from Blockbuster as I'm not going to blind buy it. FV or CC seem to be the best prices, though.

I picked up a copy at Best Buy for $29.99, got it home after work and popped it in, got thru the menu screen and after the Universal logo, the picture goes out and my whole machine reboots (I have a Sony BDP-S300 and have had no problems with any discs before, and I also got Harold and Kumar 2 and that seems to be playing fine). So I took it back to a different Best Buy and exchanged it for another one, and the same thing is happening. No error message, just shuts down my machine. Anyone else having this trouble? Is it a bad batch of discs? Think it's a compatibility issue? One of them there profile 1.1 or greater deals? Even if I do a chapter search, it'll play about a split second of the movie and then shutdown mode again. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
