I really doubt they're going to do a recycled idea again after the backlash against Khan.

So you saw the movie in a theater full of idiots.

Sounds like he saw it in a theater filled with smart people with good taste to me. The Khan thing was super lame.

That's awesome. She was such a beauty and very awesome in Kingsman. I actually felt sorry for her in the end.

You couldn't hear anyone talking in the theater once Spock screamed out "KHAAAAAAAAAAN" due to the laughing, though.

Every single time I've gone to see a movie in the theater, it's been dead silent. Maybe a small, barely audible sound from a single person here and there, but otherwise nothing. I'm Swedish though, so maybe that's got something to do with it. We're very emotionally reserved in public.

That was one of the most awkward scenes I had ever seen in a major motion picture.

During the first Captain America film the cops were called because a white woman accused a black man of kicking the back of her seat. She jumped up and started calling him things that I won't repeat here. Also in a crowded theater when Basic Instinct was playing a guy stood up and told a couple if the didn't shut their baby up he was going to put his gun in its mouth. They got up and left. Today that probably wouldn't have gone over too well.

You're missing out. I saw Fast & Furious 6 at a packed preview screening. The audience was rowdy, and that was a fun two hours.

Comedies can be a lot of fun if the crowd is really into it. Same with horror movies, but there is a line that can be crossed. I remember as a kid when Rocky was fighting Ivan Drago you would have thought it was a real match and the audience had money bet on it. They wanted revenge for Apollo Creed and they really hated them Russians.

Yikes, that sounds... wild.

I can imagine it could be fun. At the same time though, I don't mind the silence, it allows me to just focus all my attention on the movie.

Actually, when I saw The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies there was a guy sitting next to me who laughed VERY loudly every time Alfrid or Legolas did something "funny" and/or ridiculous. Not to mention he started mouth breathing heavily during the final quarter of the film, which wasn't just unpleasant to listen to but - not surprising considering he'd consumed a massive amount of popcorn, candy and chips prior - smelled bad. That was kinda annoying.

That wasn't why it was awkward.
