cleaning my pany 50' plasma - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, I've been having a horrible time cleaning the screen on my panasonic plasma. Everything I've tried is still leaving streaks which drives me crazy. I've used the monster stuff with the microfiber cloth and it dosen't help much. I'm not sure if I'm not doing something right, but would really appreciate any help or information on this.

When you're using the cloth how are you wiping it?(The tv I mean)

I usually spray it directly on the tv and go circular but not sure how much pressure or how much to spray on it

Make sure you wash your hands prior too.. u nasty...

just kidding. u try using newspaper? its the same for windshields. no streaks

A 50 foot plazma would take forever to clean! How much did it cost and where do you get it?

I should roadhouse kick you to the head. But that wouldn't fix your problem. You'll be dead. Don't go circular. Go side to side

That Monster cleaner sucks. I would'nt use any liquids at all. Just get a good microfiber towel, and not the one Monster has either.

I think the monster cleaner is alright... I use it with no problems. Just wipe side to side and don't use too much.

i wouldnt spray directly onto the tv even if the bottle says to...

I too was not thrilled with the results from the Monster cleaner. Found some from GE at Target, works pretty well. No matter what cleaner you use, you will likely need to go over the display again to get rid of the streaks.

As for the joke about washing your hands, it’s more true than you know. I don’t like the “micro-clothes” nor any cloth you would use repeatedly because they do absorb the oils from your hands and fingers. Best advice would be to wipe your hands down with rubbing alcohol first.
