Should my new laptop play blu-ray or have I been ripped off?

Go for the refund the system is to slow to run Blu-Ray movies,
As you can see, if the CPU is at 100 percent then forget it.

some movie may play like Mpeg 2 with Dolby digital audio,
but movies encoded with H264 or VC1 with HD Audio will not play.
