So you're saying that the TV display is telling you that it is only displaying at 60Hz, correct?
Also, what is your blu-ray player and is it set to output a 24Hz signal? How is it connected to the TV? Is the player connected directly to the TV, or does it go through a receiver first? |

So are you trying to get it to display it at 120hz? Or not?
The auto motion is just another feature for smoothing out the 120hz. Changing that won't effect whether or not is SHOWING the image in 120hz. Check the menu or manual to see if you can set the HZ level or if it defaults to a level on certain shows and signals. |

Are you sure it's not in 120hz? I mean, it's probably displaying the signal information, which would be 24hz or 60hz, along with the resolution.
If the set's native resolution is 120hz, that's what it's running. As previously stated, motionflow has nothing to do with the refresh rate (though that seems to be a common misconception). |

I believe that it is running at 120hz all the time, at least my Sony 60A3000 does. It will display what the incoming signal is(when a 24p blu-ray is playing it says so) but does not give the option of choosing what framerate you want to see. Every incoming signal is modified to 120, the native frame rate of the set. 24hz is repeated 5 times to make 120, 60hz is repeated twice to make 120. The set always shows 120hz.

To answer original post, I have a Samsung LN52A750. On info box, it only shows what the native speed is for source. That doesn't mean 120Hz is disabled. It's on, but it can't say 120Hz as native speed since it's only being upscaled by TV itself. I have yet to try a PC game though. I guess it will say 120Hz for 120 FPS in games?
Oh, and auto motion plus sucks ass (IMO). I have tried it on Blu-ray, and it actually makes the motion between scenes worse. I get fuzzy image, so I turned it off. It could be just my PS3 though, I heard it's great for dish network. |

The resolution would only be 1920x1080... so its not like the computer has to be "enabled" for use on a 50 inch or whatever screen... all that matters is the resolution... and a decent graphic card should do that easily.... $75 for a card that can do it if you have a decent computer
