maybe prince of persia. no one is really talking about it because of all the other big name games coming out around the holiday season (bioshock, R2, LBP, Fallout 3, etc etc). but if the devs improve on the original game (which was a blast), this game could be pretty sweet.

I want prince of persia, and Tomb Raider:Underworld and they both come out on the same day!!!

They should split up the only two platformers coming out this year by more than.......well...you know....the same day!

LBP can probably be a sleeper hit. Only people that pay attention (Us) are really "in the know" about how great this game is going to be. The rest will find out with commercials and playing it in our houses.

+1 Same thing I was pointing out and everyone was thinking I was "crazy" for mentioning little big planet. The last guy is hilarious, check out the video on the japanese store and the guy who announces it does that crazy dance

The new trailer on gametrailers for Golden Axe looks pretty decent.


Golden axe probably wouldn't fit into the "sleeper hit" category simply because it's a franchise that could get sales on name recognition alone.

You might be right.

Maybe the game "WET" might be a sleeper hit. I haven't heard a whole lot about this game.

WET (the name that is) reminds me of another title coming out that could also be a sleeper hit.

"hydrophobia"

kind of looks like a survival horror type game where the main character is afraid of the water, while being in a sinking ship. fluid dynamics come into play.

We were also shown Sacred 2 for the Xbox 360, which, we were told, is almost the same as the PC version. Both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will support a native resolution of 1080p full HD, which should keep HDTV owners happy.

My pick for is a toss up between Dead Space & Fracture. It will defintely be a busy holiday season with Fallout 3, Killzone 2, Resistance 2 & LBP.

I think fracture will suffer by being released when too many other great games are coming out, and in return will be basically ignored despite that it already looks to be a cool game with an awesome original concept.


They should push this game back to next year imo.

Not that it will be a "sleeper" hit but I truly believe that Little Big Planet will explode in a manner that even most of us here aren't expecting. If marketed right, I really do think that LBP could be the next Pokemon and will be the single biggest pusher of the PS3 this holiday season and beyond!
