Got my Best Buy steelbook in the mail yesterday (pics can be found in the respective steelbook thread).

Not taking any chances with trying to physically score certain BB steelbooks that'll sell like hotcakes anymore after totally missing out on the "Guardians of the Galaxy" steelbook last year, so now that I have it in my hands hassle free (as well as "Phantom Pain"), I can sleep easy.

157 minutes. Only watched around 30 mins of it. I've enjoyed what I have seen. The bit I have seen is footage from around 1998-2002 ish?

After my first viewing of Fury Road I sat there all the way through the credits shaking my head. What the hell did I just witness?

Miller has made a film about driving down a road, and back again. But it might just be one of the best movie I've seen? Talk about getting your juices flowing, my god. All the cast were phenomenal. The colors were beautiful. The cinematography was beautiful. The soundtrack is simply amazing (hats of to Junkie XL) and the best I've heard at home. Simply stunning and a pure master class in cinema.

Only gripes?!?
1) The way Miller played with the frame rates in the movie was strange at first viewing. But on reflection I appreciate the reasons why and I think on second viewing it won't be as distracting.
2) I didn't go and watch this in the IMAX in Manchester! Why oh why!!?!?! Fool!

Traveling back down fury road very soon!!!!

Bravo Mr Miller, Bravo.

It's a constant chase/action film with less plot than most movies. If you haven't seen Road Warrior you really should, and then if you like that you should feel safe getting this.

Unless you have some weird aversion to "old" movies, in which case... I dunno.

Shame you didn't contribute to the box office whilst it was in cinemas, glad you enjoyed it though.

It goes without saying that this was a must see in cinemas, one of a kind experience.

Didn't make it to the theater for this. My first blind buy in a while. Really looking forward to seeing this.

80% of movies I buy are blind buys and this one is no exception. Can't wait to watch it.

Best Buy sent me a $5 RZ certificate for my birthday (Labor Day this year!), so I'll use that along with $15 RZ certificates and get the 3D edition. That'll make that ridiculous 3D price more palatable.

Most 3D releases around release day seem to always be between 27.99-29.99 I wasn't expecting it much cheaper.

Surprised so many are shocked at the price point.

I'll be sure to pick up the 3D version at work at Walmart, not because I have a 3D TV (I don't), but because of that hologram cover.

Wow, my Best Buy had THREE of these in steelbook. That's it. Hope you guys got there early that wanted one. I pulled in at 9:55 and I wouldn't have gotten one if I got there any later.

Most are $22.99. I rarely see a 3D BD priced that high on release day. I don't buy many 3D BD's myself but the last one I personally remember paying that much for was Gravity.

I'm really nervous but it's thrilling at the same time! I better head there right now, mine opens in 28 minutes!

I don't really like steel books but man the art on this is amazing. Makes me almost want to get one but I'll stick with the regular edition.

I don't care about steelbooks either, I just buy the best cover art, which this was by a wide margin. For Avengers 2 and Jurassic World I think I'm going with the normal versions (I don't like any Avengers 2 covers TBH).
