Gotta ask about the omission of some titles that logically should be there. Like the Miramax and Weinstein Company Halloween movies and Amityville 3D.

My Scream Factory Blu-rays of Witchboard and Night of the Demons arrived in the mail today.

The Blu-ray of Night of the Demons, which is a Collector's Edition, arrived without a slipcover. I'm sure that I'll come to terms with this after months of extensive therapy and precise medication dosages.

(Actually, I'm ambivalent about the slipcovers. All of my other SF Collector's Editions Blu-rays have them, but it's not a huge issue.)

I'm looking forward to delving into these when October comes around!

I think of it like that also. If they come with a slip, good but if not its also no big deal for me.

I sold Amityville 3D that movie is beyond awful I could never watch that again. Same with the older Halloween movies I only like parts 1-5 although the producers cut is not bad.

I like the scream art better to me that is what makes them unique is the artwork is different then the regular poster art.

I did the same thing. I got the idea from someone on this forum and got rid of all my slips.

I love the way they look (except I use the original poster art).

Is that what you do? Flip the covers around? I personally couldn't care less what's on the cover, so I just leave it. I have to ask though, for those who do flip to the other side of the cover, do you ever have any issues stemming from the fact that the cover already has "bends" going one way from wrapping around the spine and now you're bending it back the other way?

That's a box set with two discs and a book, not the same as a slip.

I use the original release art - part of why I like Scream is the nostalgic factor - these were the VHS' I was renting every weekend, but in better quality - I like seeing the same art as I did as a kid. Don't ever notice any issues from bending it.

Nope, everything lines up the same. And for the majority of those of us who grew up in the age of VHS rentals, original poster art is a very beautiful thing .

Not really. The amount of pressure applied to cause the "bend" really isn't strong enough to significantly compromise the integrity of the insert.
