Unfortunately their website obviously isn't handling the traffic well - it's taking several minutes for pages to load.

Prices are ludicrously low but unfortunately some key titles are not included, and some dvd versions are listed with no Blu in the sale.
Are there any BDs in the sale at all? I looked through several pages of sale items and didn't see any.

Off the top of my head:

Retro Action! vols 1-3
Space 1999 Season 1
Robin of Sherwood both volumes
The Persuaders
The Prisoner
Fireball XL5: A Day in the Life of a Space General
The Professionals MKII

Super skint at the moment but might not be able to pass up The Prisoner for £12 (I almost got it in their last sale for 50% more than that).

Also noticed there is one DVD that caught my eye: Altman's Vincent & Theo (for £2.88). Good blind-buy?

Finally might stop putting off Thriller at £12. Could do with Armchair Thriller as well. If I had it to spare, I could drop quite a bit on this sale. Typically it's about to be preorder frenzy month though.

Also Tales Out of School: Four Films by David Leland which includes Alan Clarke's Made In Britain. Worth it for £6.94!

And the forlorn Season 1 of The Sweeney, which I still haven't bought and probably won't unless they ever announce Season 2…

Always worth pointing out, especially as this one is a short sale..

Sale starts 12:00 on Tuesday 29th September 2015 and ends at 23:59 on Sunday 4th October 2015.

The DVD of Wolcott is in there funnily enough, and I presume that was released at the same time as the Blu.

The Prisoner is correct in 24p, you can tell by The Beatles song in the last episode. Space 1999 while shot 25 frames a second was mixed at 24 so they went with the latter for series 1 and have continued that with series 2.

I don't know about the rest.

I never managed to get it to load that fast last night: some pages were actually taking as long as five minutes even at off-peak times.

Same here, but after a while I did time a couple of pages. Either they were really, really busy or their site has seriously limited capacity. If you recall, when they changed the design of the site completely a few years ago it was so full of glitches that it locked out a lot of customers for a month or so until they sorted it out.

Even now it's playing up by adding shipping charges to orders that are eligible for free shifting, meaning having to empty and refill the basket until it gets it right.

There's quite a few Network titles in Amazon's 3 for £20 promotion.

I saw:

The Medusa Touch
Deadlier Than the Male
The Ipcress File
Black Narcissus
The Shout
L+H's The Flying Deuces

to name a few.

In my childhood I watched and re-watched a ton of Laurel & Hardy, especially the short films. This was my favorite of their features. While the duo are holidaying in Paris, Ollie falls in love with a woman only to be turned down. To forget he joins the Foriegn Legion (and Stan of course must come along) and they get into all kinds of misadventures. I have seen the film several times over the course of my life and it still remains a solid entertainment with several LOL moments and even a poignant ending.

Network's blu-ray is decent although I wish it could have been better. Print damage is quite acceptable in terms of scratches/lines, but the contrast could have been better adjusted to have a wider grayscale. In default, the film looks a little too bright, with blown areas. But this is supposed to be still better than the US release from VCI. As an extra they have put in a German version of the film (don't know if this is just an alternate audio track or a separate cut of the film).

There was a time when there seemed like there were a load of Network Blu-ray releases coming out. Apart from 80,000 Suspects and Rome Express (the only two forthcoming), is anybody aware of any more? I'd like some more Hitchcock

There's supposed to be a 'The British Film' Christmas sale on, but I can't access the website

40% off; and this "applies to all titles apart from 'The British Film' titles released after 30 September 2015".

I can't seem to access it either. Has it been stormed and the server crashed?

Can access it now It's a little (read: lot) slow, though.

But with Arrow and MoC having a BF sale tomorrow, they might have to wait!
