Nothing for me from the Mondo flat sale. Found maybe 3 or 4 items that interested me but were sold out within a minute or two.

Finally back after being suspended for selling a movie code early on another thread, kind of ridiculous that a person gets suspended for three weeks when the rules state they will be suspended for two weeks so not sure why I got an extra week in the hole per say. I can understand a few days suspension, but three weeks?

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and welcome to the new members here. I saw that BF Mondo sale, more than likely they only had one set/print of some of the harder to find ones and naturally some on Facebook are convinced bots ate them all up. Who knows if that is the case, could be people with super fast internet and were faster on the drop, you never know.

I would agree, I mean technically I hadn't read the policy in a while so shame on me and while I felt I should have been punished per say, a one day suspension for your first violation followed by a three day for your second, one week for third, etc. is much fairer. A two week suspension is rather absurd, and for me I was suspended for three weeks, the problem is when you are suspended you can't reach out to any of the moderators pleading your case, or in my case asking why my suspension was a week longer than stated in the policies thread? But I did my virtual suspension in the hole at Shawshank, so I am back now, hope has set me free!

I imagine if I got suspended for 3 weeks I would just stop coming back. What's the point, three weeks would surely give me enough time to get used to not being here so I'd probably just move along.

I think there are people who don't quite understand how Mondo drops occur, and that they are "limited" and during the Black Friday sale Mondo had said in advance that most of the prints were very limited in nature and that some would only be one's or two's, and more than likely the earlier Stout prints were probably just that, but people think just because they were up means there were a ton of them and the reality is there weren't.

I realize a suspension was in order for me, I failed to read the latest main opening thread about digital copies, since I had offered them in the past I thought I was doing everything right. I had no idea that offering a CinemaNow code before the film was released was nothing big, and certainly not a policy violation since Best Buy tends to let people have specific CinemaNow codes early when a person pre-orders (Mad Max: Fury Road, Terminator Genysis, Mission Impossible Rogue Nation, etc). I simply posted the Terminator code since it was an official code, and the next thing I knew I was suspended. I checked the thread and it said "first violation was 2 weeks" which I feel is rather lengthy for a first violation, and it was right around Halloween, and it said the suspension would be lifted on 11/21 which was three weeks. I could not contact anyone during that time, would have been nice to have been able to message a moderator about that, but it was simply not possible.

I just went with it, no way would I leave because of that, despite it being frustrating, too many good people on here, many of which are in this thread and after all these years, I enjoy this place.

The prints will be listed on the site under the heading "New Stuff" and they will have the artist-proof editions, some titles such as The Rocketeer by Ansin, Batman by Ken Taylor, and many others will be offered.

I want to know if Mondo ever actually produced prints of their one-sheet for Predestination below.

This is one of my favorite movies, based on a book by my favorite author, staring one of my favorite actors, and I would crawl through broken glass to get my hands on this.

I searched expressobeans for it and it came back with zero results so I'd have to guess it doesn't exist as a print. You could contact Mondo directly to be 100% sure though I've always had a response from Mondo when I've contacted them.

I spoke to the artist Jay Shaw at Mondo just a moment ago, and he said they only printed them as a theatrical giveaway, but that he'd ask around the office to see if anybody has some.

That's why I rarely post anymore. Also any comment made is immediately argued by someone. This was a friendlier community a few years ago.

Hope everyone is keeping up on DMR for the Star Wars poster. Be sure and post it here to let us all know. I check daily but I'm sure once it hits it's going to go within a few hours or less.
