So even when they list all the extras or whatever on the disc and you think "that sounds great" only to find out the Blu-ray has none of those extras and the only review that is actually for the Blu-ray is the 121st review in the list? Won't you be a bit unhappy about getting something because you thought it was good value especially with all the features listed or because the review said it would work in your region but they were talking about the DVD? Or you read a Blu-ray review but the features listed are from a different release of the Blu-ray with features that aren't on the product you are viewing?

I see your point. In the beginning, Amazon did have separate reviews for just about every Blu-ray and it was a disaster. Now sometimes they have separate reviews and sometimes they don't. The opinions on Amazon can't be trusted which in turn gives them little value.

Perhaps things might be different postwar. Knowing how things use to be, I'd still say keep the listings separate, but combine the reviews.
