thanks.... and I know I need to take care of the windows (addressed on my build thread) I just brought over the player/movie to try to adjust the screen and do some fine-tuning..... still haven't set the color/contrast yet.... I will run a calibration disc when it's all set up.....

You can see in some of the pictures some storm windows on the ground... the painters are painting the interior windows.... so I don't want to set up any permanent window treatments yet....

TV: 32" Sharp Aquos
BDP: Playstation 3
Stereo: RCA 500w 5.1 Surround (about 6 years old, heh. It sounds solid though)
Gamecube
Z-Line Designs stand/mount

*had to darken the pic some. New camera that I haven't quite tweeked yet.

Welcome! What you have is not a bad setup. If it suits you that's all that matters. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Are all the speakers sitting next to each other? Your surround left and right is sitting next to your front left and right!

For the meantime, yes. I had a wider stand that spread them out, but it had to be replaced. So, I haven't got speaker stands yet. It doesn't sound bad at all, honestly. I'm going to do what room tweeking I can when I get back from vacation in a couple weeks.

you should go with a sound bar if you are limited..i think Polk makes a decent one... "Polk Audio Surround Bar"

I would get rid of that Brian loves Katey sign infront of your set up...hang it on the wall or something =D
