From now on, I'm just gonna buy movies I haven't seen yet. Buying old movies doesn't spark my interest anymore. The thrill of watching a movie the first time on hi-def is amazing (when it's good lol). Besides, don't we all kind of "blindbuy" when we go and see a movie at the theater. Same concept.

Well.. I don't but I know what I like and what I don't. I just go based on my instinct and so far it's working fine. For the movie I don't like, I'll just sell them. And of course. I always buy when it's on sale.

I agree. I will never buy a movie because it just has good PQ. That is just ridiculous!

Yeah, you're prbably right, I'm sure it's waaayyy better. . It doesn't matter how much make-up someone puts on a pig, it's still a pig.

I hardly ever did blind buys on dvd, but I have done a few on Blu-ray so far.

Blind buys for me:
Shoot 'em Up
The Bank Job
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Batman Gotham Knight
Natural Born Killers
Walk Hard: Dewey Cox Story

These were all blind buys for me:

Movies I kept:
Underworld
Underworld Evolution.
I am Legend
Nightmare Before Christmas (really enjoyed it)
MIB
Harry Potter 1-5 (havent watched any of them yet)
Die Hard Collection (watched Die Dard 1 and Live Free or Die Hard only, they were ok)
Cars (havent seen although I was curious to see PQ so I did watch some scenes)
Rambo III (from the Rambo Collection, haven't watched it)
Unforgiven ( I really enjoyed)
The Simpsons Movie (thought it was just an elongated Simpsons episode and really didn't need to be made, but I'm keeping it just because its Simpsons)
Full Metal Jacket Deluxe edition (I liked this movie)
Sunshine ( another one I liked, great pq too)

Blind Buys I sold, traded, or want to sell or trade:
Ghost Rider (sold it)
Rescue Dawn (traded it)
Mr. Brooks (traded it)
Blade Runner (thought it was boring, trying to sell or trade it)
From Hell(sold it)
3:10 to Yuma (liked it but sold it)
No Country for Old Men (hated the ending, might sell it in the future)
Enchanted (sold it)
Prison Break Season 1 (traded it)

I will most likely not blind buy anymore movies as I think I have learned my lesson. I've spent too much money that could have gone to movies I like.

I do have Wall-E pre-ordered and is a semi blind buy for me. I saw parts of it online but the pq was so bad it turned me off and the parts I saw were kind of boring. I saw speed racer online and thought it was horrible, but rented it on blu-and was much better. I hope Wall-E will have the same effect

Curious as to why you wanted to get rid of this one.

I'm not really sure. I watched like 12 or maybe more episodes straight through and I guess i kind of got bored and got some other blu-rays I really wanted for it. I did like the show though but it probably would not have replay value for me

90 percent of the movies i buy are blind buys because i just buy what i want. I very rarely go to the movies so if i see a movie or trailer that looks good i just buy it.
cuz i got it like that!!!
