I had laid out my complaints in another thread, but will add to this one to keep the anger going.

I got home with my brand new player and hooked it up.

Then the real battle started -- attempting to remove security stickers from three sides of the movies I bought, after already removing the cellophane enclosure. But that was not the end of it. The adhesive remained, sticking the case to me, the table, each other.

Following another thread, I bought some water based Goof Off -- TOXIC stuff mind you -- and have started the tedious process of removing the adhesive from the boxes. Like I should have to do this!!! Nonetheless, the plastic is ripped and pulled where I previously fought to remove these things.

THEN, there are the devices inside. The oblong ones will stay. But why are they putting non-removable square patches on top of the INDEX page so you can't read it?!?! Are they incompetent or do they simply not care? You can bet its the latter.

Sony and its partners are needlessly upsetting the people who will make or break this medium -- and it will have an economic impact on them if it fails.

I suggest they get their act together and FIX this thing, and NOW not a year from now.

To the first poster -- no, you (and all of us) as the consumer who paid a premium for the movie and container are right to be upset.
