At the very least Italian dub & English subs...charge a couple of more $.

Nah, let's get these out sooner than later, as in NOW. Besides, most actors in these films were speaking English anyway, so it's usually the Italian audio that doesn't match the actors' mouths. Anyone who prefers to watch Eurocrime featuring English speaking actors with subtitles is just lame.

No, at the very minimum he should charge a few bucks more and include the italian dub/english sub option. People use that reason all the time to ignore otherwise perfectly good US releases, "I'll just wait to download the fan dub," or "I'll import the foreign release cause it's got original dub."

The images you posted for the ALMOST HUMAN and CRY OF A PROSTITUTE covers are just great!
Some of them, such as Cry of a Prostitute, do not have an english dub track for the uncut version. The english dub was produced for a heavily, heavily censored version. If he wants to spend a ton of time re-editing the audio to splice the english dubbed sections with the italian-only sections and subtitling the scenes that only have Italian audio, he could do that, but I don't think it's worth it for the tiny handful of people that both are very interested in vintage Italian movies AND hate subtitles.

This ^^^. Dubious is bringing it strong . Collectors that want a particular title WILL pay a few $ more to get the best version.

This may be the most sensible "suggestion" I've ever read on this forum, bravo!

I would think The Carrier would be one of your better selling catalog upgrades. Some of your new blus only offer the bump to HD - which is defintely cool and I've bought a couple of my favorites - but they don't offer anything else to compel us to double dip. People Who Own the Dark was a good one, because those DVD transfers had a lot of damage, so the upgrade was a substantial upgrade. And The Carrier is definitely one that would offer more in the jump to blu, because the DVD was fullscreen. It's one fans would really want to replace, as opposed to a lot of other people would be happy just sticking with their DVD copies.

Also if you played up the Evil Dead family/ Bruce Campbell connection, that would probably bring in more newbie fans. Get a Bruce commentary and prepare to go mainstream just in time for Ash v Evil Dead season 2.

I respect Code Red for not releasing $50 steelbooks and adding superfluous stuff like slipcovers and special cases. Just focus on the best PQ and AQ possible, with a few good special features for some added value. I'm buying for the movies and not the packaging.

I see lots of upcoming movies that I can't wait to own. Several that should have no problems selling. It's a good time to be a Code Red fan.

I want to apologize ahead of asking this, I know it's annoying, I looked through the thread and couldn't find the latest on House at The Edge of The Park.

Could anyone just quickly post the latest update on it?

Nothing too new to report on. I believe it was planned for a May release but the most recent check disc had issues that were being worked out delaying it further. No new time frame has been revealed but I'm hopeful we'll see it before summer's out.

People ask me for ALLIGATOR? cant get that one, so I got a GREAT ONE! Since CODE RED DVD's past film (American films) are getting cherry picked by other labels we had no other choice but do a 180 and made a major package deal with an Italian company.

We present a Gator attack movie from a HD scan in 1080p in violent blazing color. We are proud the present THE GREAT ALLIGATOR ! made by all=time favorite Sergio Martino!

Starring Four of the cast of SCREAMERS! Barbara Bach, Claudio Cassinelli, Mel Ferrer and Richard Johnson. see muscle dude Romano Puppo and soul brother BOBBY RHODES!
Hopefully this movie will sell 2,000 Blu so we can continue this large italian film spree!

Had a feeling this one would show up soon.
