With the WWI setting, i'm sure this will be either as good as "Captain America: The First Avenger" or even better.

Okay so you liked her, I wouldn't go so far as to say she was terrible but the actress from BvS was not the best depiction of Wonder Woman and I would hope they could abandon her and cut all ties to that movie. What did you like about her, how she looks in the costume? Is that all it takes to have a "good" Wonder Woman is a woman who wears the costume? I think it takes more than that, this character is not a sex symbol and shouldn't be treated like one she is one of the few female super heroes not overly sexualized by the comic book industry.

If all they have to do is put someone in the costume and call it a day for people to be happy, no wonder they get away with how the treat poor old Batman in their movies, anyone who can wear the costume gets to be Batman apparently, with no thought put into the character whatsoever. At least with Superman they always try to find someone that fits the look of the archetype but with Batman, hell if Clooney can do it anyone can do it, wait if Keaton can do it anyone can do it, wait if Kilmer can do it anyone can do it, damn they have NEVER had a decent Batman what the **** Hollywood. I guess Bale was pretty good and Kilmer was okay but stuck in a terrible movie, and Afleck was just no.

It's almost as if Warner the company that owns DC, has never even bothered to open up the pages of one of the comic books they own.

You go on a rant about how there's never been a decent Batman, and then say that Bale of all people was pretty good? Ew. He was alright in Begins but he phoned it in afterwards.

IMO, Affleck was the best Bruce Wayne/Batman to date followed by Keaton. Both were much better than having to listen to Bale.

I thought Wonder Woman stole the show in what little screen time she had. She breathed life into the final battle.

Yeah, Wondy has never been even close to a sex symbol in the comics or sexualized. Nope.

Sure Gal Gadot is going to look good in the costume. She's a true beauty.

But I liked her performance. She was strong, looked good, seemed smart, and was a total badass. I'm very much looking forward to her future performances as Diana.

You do realize that it makes sense that Diana would have an accent, right?

And I think her accent is sexy as hell.

Not to mention all the countless times she's been put in bondage-like situations...

Yep. In the old days, that was her "kryptonite" -- if she was bound, then she lost her super-powers. Real subtle.

Of course, William Moulton Marston was an ... interesting guy. Heh.

Would Steve Trevor be dead by the time modern day rolls around ala Peggy Carter? Or is there some Winter Soldier shenanigans to keep him alive?

Batman Begins is still my favorite Batman movie, because it's actually about Batman, his origin and his training. With Begins, Bale was great in the role both with acting and physicality, but, yeah, everything afterwards was phoned in by him. And his gruff Batman voice was taken too far in the sequels.

Affleck is the best Batman we've ever had. Sure, he may be pushing the boundaries of extreme of what we know Batman to be as far his moral code goes, but Affleck is the total embodiment of the comic character come to life. His acting, his voice, his physicality, the way he moves, and his overall look, his face, body, size and shape is Batman in and out of the costume. Perfect casting.

Gadot as WW in BvS was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting her to be the weak point of the main performers, but she proved me wrong. I'd never seen her in any other films prior to her stint in BvS, but I'd heard she wasn't the most convincing actress, and you might argue she's "only" playing a superhero, yet I believe that to convince in that kind of role is deceptively difficult, and your skill level as an actor has to be beyond the demands of that particular type of role. She wasn't mind blowingly amazing, but she seemed comfortable and able in BvS, which is something I assumed was beyond her. With her solo film - particularly with her director for WW guiding things - I think she'll improve with each turn as WW.

My understanding -- and this could be wrong at this point -- is that Pine is playing Steve's great-grandfather during the WWI section, then playing the Steve we all know and love during the modern day section.
