It is sad, i don't know how you recover from something like this .
You would think she would have moved them out of that neighborhood already,
maybe they weren't close .
Im not judging but if i become famous i will not leave my mother in this shi y neighborhood .
That's just asking for trouble .
I would never be able to live with myself ,
but that's just who i am,
i don't know her situation .

You would think that people around the neighborhood would know them. I don't see why you would murder a mother and her son in cold blood.

Edit- I looked her up... I guess I didn't know her because I'm the only one who never watched American Idol.

Anyway... sad story. Hope they find the missing child. I think someone may have been shot at my next door neighbor's house last night. (Woke up to gunshots then many police cars.)

it doesn't matter the neighborhood. Jennifer's sisters new husband killed her mother and brother. And kidnapped his step-son while Jennifer's sister was at work.

he has been found but hasn't told where the kid was, that I know of.

oh! man!!! this is incredibly sad, but she should have moved them to a better neighborhood. I'm sure she had the money to do so. I hope they capture the bastards responsible for this heinous crime.

The murderer was an known family member/friend. News I read stated "domestic abuse" was involved. So it's a known person of the family.

As a musician that has played for Jennifer and sung background for her countless times in churches all over the south side of Chicago, and Los Angeles I am stunned, sad, and angry all at the same time. She has a very nice and well grounded family, and I can not imagine who would do such a thing to her mom and brother.

One thing I do know, when this young woman recovers from the shock and pain of all this, she is going to be three times the singer she is today. Patty LaBelle has had simular family deaths(not by shooting, but by cancer), and when she dedicates "You are my friend" to her sister, she lays it all on the table.

My prayers are with you Jennifer
