^^^ yes game prices are a huge drawback.
but not having to worry about tons of things being added together to get a really good gaming pc is also an advantage for consoles . add to that (strangely enough ) almost every game i liked is a console game ( since doom3 and half life 2 made the jump to consoles) . still the one thing needed to make the PS3 the dream machine still didnt happen  YET
