Anyway, I really really hope this happens; but I'm not gonna get my hopes up too high with this title.

Synapse needs to do a super-rush job on this one and get it out before another problem arises with this title. Usually I'd say take your time and get it perfect, but with this film, it seems like it comes with a lot of baggage regarding the rights, the owner, or who knows what. Please get it out there fast!

Yeah, it's as though the director or the rights holder gets started with a DVD label and then gets cold feet or something.

I know right, just make it HD widescreen and get it out, imperfections we will take.

I, too, hope they rush this one out. It's been promised time and time again, only to have nothing ever come of the plans.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing that. I just recently found my PAL DVD and converted it so I can play it at home (as I'm in the US) and it looks so bad. Can't wait for this release to upgrade!

I first saw this on the big screen during a horror film marathon in the summer of 1980-the other films were Targets,Honeymoon Killers,Suspiria,Daughters of Darkness,Frankenstein Created Woman,Eyes Without a Face,Humanoids From the Deep,Twitch of the Death Nerve and Sisters.Coming ever closer to completing this program on Blu-ray!

I was just wondering about this film the other day. I saw it back in the mid 90's when I was on a big horror movie kick, but I felt let down by it since I expected a slasher. I think Heathers is a good comparison. This is just an odd movie.
