Any posters out there who ordered Lone Wolf at $40- did Amazon honor it? I seem to recall posters who had their orders cancelled when Amazon realized their mistake.
They honored mine, and I'm pretty sure everyone else's orders too.

They will honor the pre-order. If not, just contact Amazon by chat or phone. Their customer service staff will let you put in a second order that will honor the $40 price.

But I highly doubt that anyone will lose their orders.

Yeah, I feel greedy for being disappointed we're not getting those, particularly as I'm sure I've Hawke and/or Linklater say they'd like to go back and do them for those two. Hoping the interviews and behind the scenes stuff for Sunrise and Sunset is substantial along with the Delpy/Hawke/Linklater footage.

Bottom line though, to get the first two in HD is still MASSIVE for me.

My $39.95 pre-order of Linklater's "Before Trilogy" Criterion Blu-ray with amazon is still being honored.

Amazon also honored my Lone Wolf and Cub Criterion Blu-ray order for $39.99

Regards,

Not sure why you feel the need to point out the distinction - I'm still frustrated I missed it, and I think we're all fairly sure Amazon will honour the price for those who locked in orders while it was listed at that price.

Depends on which side you are on. For Amazon it was a mistake. For the purchasers it is a deal.

I understand your frustration, I hope you get the chance to get at a good price. Cheers.

I'd be gutted to miss the deal too, but won't it be at a similar price point in future B&N and Criterion.com sales?

Thanks, me too! I'm in the UK, and hopefully this is one of those titles Criterion decides to release over here too (rights issues permitting). With Criterion box sets, it tends to be prohibitively pricey to import at the moment (thanks a bunch, Brexit!)

Yes you are right, I am at the customer side !! Many years ago I found a Frank Zappa CD that was priced at £5. But the till price was £30. I had a argument with the till operator, she was convinced that I should pay the till price. But at the end after speaking with the store manager, I purchased the item for the price printed on the sticker...

Witchmania do you have a multi zone player ? Because Criterion Blu-Rays are Region A (locked)... so I hope it will be released in the UK or in Europe.

Yep, I sure do. I'm a regular Criterion purchaser.
