Arrow announcements are typically the second Friday of each month. Any particular reason why you want them to announce it earlier?

I'm hoping they announce these films next month; was kind of expecting Arrow to announce them this month. Anyway, they need to make up for that very lackluster February lineup

Mostly impatient to know whether the US set will include House 4. Since it's called House Collection, House 2 should be in it. House 4 not so certain for US since we never got a DVD release. Scream Factory already released House 3 The Horror Show in US on both BD and DVD in 2013.

Oh, OK. I think the collection will be a UK-exclusive since the 4th film is controlled by New Line thru WB in the US. There was already a UK House 1-4 DVD set released several years ago so this would essentially be an upgrade of that set for them. For us, it'll likely just be the first 2 films. They can't call the US release a "collection" for obvious reasons

WB do license, it's just super rare. They might go for it since Arrow is doing the disc for the UK either way. Who knows.

And now over to our US only release…

NEW US TITLE: House I + II Blu-ray

Arrow Video is proud to present the first two instalments of hit horror franchise House on Blu-ray for the first time!

Definitely not on par with the first two, but I'm very interested in the special features for part 4.

Depends. I love The Horror Show and while 4 is surely the worst it's almost worth it for the pizza scene alone.

Is it better to order from Arrow directly or Amazon?

I'm pretty torn. Would love to get these on Blu-ray, but the UK set has uncut 3 and 4 but I really don't want to import right now.

But I suppose my empty wallet has already decided for me. Maybe since these box sets are limited edition, Arrow will release single editions of 1, 2, and 4 in the US later.

Direct gets you points towards future purchases, and is usually cheaper in the pre-order phase. Plus their packaging is usually pretty well.

I remember seeing the first two movies for the first time when the old Anchor Bay "limited edition" dvd set came out about fifteen years ago. I enjoyed them then; hopefully they'll still hold up today. Never did get around to the further sequels and so I might have to spring for the international release.

Artwork looks very similar to Poltergeist 2 & 3 from Scream Factory.

I liked the first two so I'll definitely be buying them. 3 and 4 are borderline terrible.

Yeah I couldn't give a rats ass about 3 & 4, so no worries for me that the US release is only the first 2 films.
