I can't believe they would give such a highly anticipated movie such a poor release. A BD-25 and a dvd? Probably won't even have HD audio.

Region 1(DVD) BD players, will play region A blu-rays. Japan is region A as well as Hong Kong, North America, and South America.

This is good news. Day 1 purchase for me. I still think it's the best superhero movie ever made.

I'm guessing it looks and sounds 100 percent like the UK version available now....which you can actually get much cheaper imported than what the digibook will run. Plus you don't have to buy a digibook.

haven't read through all 17 pages, but just in case people were still wondering and if it hadn't been announced yet on this site:

the batman anthology movies will only be available in this set. warner announced they won't be releasing them individually (yet)

sucks, i'm definitely not buying all 4. although the special features for each movie are GREAT

The special features are the same as the DVD's. No biggie and nothing new.

I can't remember everything, but I believe there were a couple pages of the script, some excerpts from the Comic Adaptation, a few photographs, and some little anecdotes about the movie. There may have been an introduction by Burton, but don't quote me on that. It's late and I don't quite feel like digging it out to check.
