Didn't want to start a new thread. But for those who saw Quantum of Solace you should have seen the new Star Trek trailer. Well what do you guys think? To me I'm not sure how this is going to turn out

yeah was gonna say i saw the trailer tonight at the midnight airing of Bond, looks sweet but i dunno cast seems too young, regardless.

They are close to the same age as the original cast show first aired.

really? haha even watching the re-runs the old cast still looks 'old' to me i guess its just the image implanted in my head as a kid that 'those guys are old!'

Both William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy were born in March of 1931, Shatner being 4 days older than Nimoy. The original Star Trek aired in 1966, so that makes the original cast in the neighborhood of 35 yrs. old when they premiered!

Chris Pine is only 28 and Zachary Quinto is 31, with Quinto being one on the oldest in the new cast.

we have seen them at that age for the past 40 years, plus we now see them in their late 70's so we think of them as older. They were not much older then these new actors when you look at it, like you said just an impression.

The new Terminator preview must be in IMAX. Because we didn't get that. Got new Watchmen, Star Trek then 7 pounds, 2012, Fast and the Furious, Valkyrie
