Please stop spreading misinformation. Plasmas and LCDs have similar repair rates. See the article below that summarizes Consumer Reports surveys of over 93K sets. In summary, both technologies averaged ~3% failure rate with Pasasonic leading the pack (both LCD and plasma) at 2%.
