I too was amazed at how blurry the CG scenes were. I don't recall other films of this vintage having such a noticeable drop in quality. I hope this gets a new scan, but I am doubtful after the Bourne Identity debacle.

Yeah same, at that price there's really no harm in taking the risk. There's a good chance I'm only gonna keep the first movie anyway. Even if I keep all the UHDs, I'll be selling off all the BDs and all the digital codes, so no matter what this should end up being a REALLY good deal when all's said and done.

I pre-ordered in case I want it and the US set never drops that low, but unless these are remasters I'll cancel it. Which they surely won't be.

They usually honor price mistakes.

It always says that, but they always use couriers which have taken as little as 48 hours to reach me on past orders. The courier thing is a double-edged sword though because there's very little chance of escaping the customs charge, and bear in mind that the fees of the respective couriers are NOT the same as what Royal Mail charge, e.g. DHL's standard "handling charge" is £11, not the £8 that RM demand, plus there's duty and VAT on top.

Still, if this ends up nearer £45 inc fees then it'll still be a terrific price, it just depends on whether the contents will be as terrible as we're suspecting them to be.

Thanks Geoff

That's a lot better then. As you say it's just a question of whether to gamble on them being any good!

Might just wait and if they are any good, get them then or wait until i go to the US later in the year to pick them up.

Small world as i'm originally from your part of the country.

I'd say the chances of anything over the £15 limit slipping through is zero these days, those couriers like to collect their fees.

But as you said, postage should be 48 hours to our doors. I've been waiting for Moana to pop up on Amazon.ca, but they're having a to-do with Disney again.
