I think my wife goes to Wally just to run into people with her cart - I'm fairly certain it's actually a black Friday competition among the women.

I did screw up 5 years ago and go shopping for a stove, ours crapped out while we were cooking the turkey. Forgot alllll about what day it was, what a nightmare. All day running around and not a decent stove to be found, took a week to get one ordered. NEVER AGAIN

Great thread ..... and good laugh to begin the morning. I'm a Black Friday shopping vet going back to my college days. In the past 18 years, there has only been one BF when I wasn't out shopping and that's because I was on the other side of the register. Now you think the customer part is hell ... OMG. Anywho I am going out looking for an Ice Blue DS and then checking into to the mental hospital.

i'll be a slave to my wife for the day. black friday is the day she makes me watch xmas movies and decorate the house.

may not be so bad this year, i've built us a mantel and bookshelves for one of those electric fireplace inserts and will meet the deadline i was given of black friday. so i get to set that all up in our living room.

I am visiting with family that are coming from out of state. As for shopping, other than going to the grocery store, I have only been out for Black Friday once in my life, and I vowed to never do it again. What a ridiculous thing to do. Standing in line for hours in the freezing cold, trying to save a couple of bucks on what amounts to a bunch of junk that I wouldn't buy anyway. I have quality standards for the stuff I buy. And with very few exceptions, most of the super cheap stuff on Black Friday is exactly that, CHEAP!!!

Nice....gotta love fellow Wild Turkey Fans. Especially those looking at Russell's Reserve(I beleive that is the 107 proof, as regular is 101, and Rare Breed is 105.7)
