They have a lot that are marked as B only but are region-free. I'm not sure how many they have actually said are locked that weren't though. I usually think it's just a labeling mistake or ambivalence.

Thrilled that it seems like 3 and 4 are region free. Love the first, never seen the second or third, but enjoyed the 4th (for what it was). I guess this will be the first time ordering a movie out of regions 1/A. Just hate those ratings logos on the cases, but I guess it's a small nitpick. Going to preorder this set. How long does it usually take Amazon UK to ship to me in the USA?

I finally purchased a region free player in January and ordered from amazon.uk around the same time. I can confirm that it did take about 15 days to receive the package. I also ordered the full House Collection from the UK and got an email stating April 10th delivery so I'd say it's accurate. Looking forward to it too!

It appears I'm in the minority being happy with the US release. The 3rd movie (which really isn't part of the series at all, not even in a Halloween 3 way) isn't even all that great. It's good, I enjoy it, but it's by no means a classic that having the SF release isn't sufficient. Plus I like the thicker style clear arrow cases, and the no logos from a cosmetic stand point.
As far as the 4th movie, I've never seen it. So personally it's no great loss, but I would be very surprised if it didn't get a domestic release eventually one way or another. |

You really can't go wrong with either set, but for me personally having all the films in a complete package (especially when that package costs less than the US edition) was enough reason to go for the UK edition. |
