Doesn't much matter to me. I swapped it out for the UHD.
I'll do that with all of the disks when they come out on UHD.

The same set of movies that were more focus on copying any CBM trend that was relevant. Copying Marvel's success with the MCU than they were on making good movies and that ended up being their downfall with TASM franchise.

The same set of movies that would focus on a plot point and then abandon it to focus on something else without ever going back and resolving it.

The horrific editing for both movies where they removed scenes that had no business being on the cutting room floor.

The same set of movies that couldn't have a consistent tone to save their lives. TASM1 look like it wanted to be Batman Begins/The Dark Knight and then after the HUGE success of the Avengers, they back track and go back to the lighthearted tone that they wanted to abandon in the first place with TASM2.

Yup I agree but I think The Amazing Spider Man series should have stay with the tone of Batman Begins/Dark Knight instead of the Avengers tone for the Amazing Spider Man 2 which was a mess and the reason why the series ended so soon and I agree the Amazing Spider Man 2 had bad editing I wished they kept the scene with Max and her mother and also Peter meets his father but SONY sucks oh well.

Yup Mastered in 4K for Spider-Man 1 and 3 but Spider-Man 2 doesn't have the Mastered in 4K because of 2.1

It's not like they promised us something and failed to deliver.

They didn't announce the set or make any claims on what it would contain.

I feel lucky they bothered to restore the version that is the "Editor's cut" and that they gave us 1, 3 and EC in Mi4K. And most of the extras in one package.

It's a shame SONY didn't announce this they did a beautiful job on this set except for 2/2.1 transfers but maybe they can maybe included it one day.

Richard Parker is alive and he was watching Peter Parker the whole time within the Amazing Spider Man 1-2 and he didn't show up because​ he wanted Oscorp to think he was dead.

[Show spoiler]Andrew Garfield has no clue. Looking it up, it seems they initially planned it to be Electro before the sequel was finalized. I would've made a guess at Miles Warren, myself. But turns out no, they had no idea what they were doing.

And if you had questions about "Why go to the church?" in Spider-Man 3, their new concept in having the black suit become Venom had Peter decide to lose the black suit after the Sinister Six makes fun of his new look.

Yup it's a deleted scene and it should have stayed in the movie it was very emotional and Richard Parker even tells Peter with Great Power Comes Great Responsibility.

It was a bonus on the Amazing Spider-Man 2 Blu-Ray. As they cut it, I presumed it wasn't supposed to be canon.
