People laughed during Annabelle in my showing and I didn't hear a soul chuckle during or after the IT preview.

One guy loudly said "that was weird." And there were a few snickers here and there. To be honest though, I'm 99% sure he and his group were all stoned out of their minds, so who knows.

That's in the clip too, though the sound effect in the clip is way more realistic than the trailer. Plus, I was talking about people laughing after the whole scene, which very predatory feeling once Pennywise comes in, giving the scene a really great sense of dread. And that's not even talking about how uncomfortable this Pennywise makes you feels even when he's making Georgie laugh. If there's any laughter to come from this scene, it's an uncomfortable laughter.

Just came back from seeing "Annabelle: Creation" (which was scary as sh*t, by the way), and folks in my screening loved it. One guy in the back, I swear, said, "Damn, that's it?!"

This should make a mininum of $50M opening weekend I think. The Conjuring universe movies keep making $35M+ (if Creation holds up well enough through the weekend)
