I'm sure the studio is just as disappointed. From viewing the numbers, starting with CR this reboot has tanked here in the US. CR did mediocre numbers at best, and it looks like QoS is not even going to match those numbers. The reality is that the reboot and Daniel Craig have not won over American audiences at all. Craig was from the beginning the most controversial choice to play Bond to begin with, not resembling Fleming's Bond or past 007's in any way shape or form.
Craig and CR fans came out in droves the first week of release and at first it looked like maybe QoS was going take off, but the reality is that after the first week or so it was over attendance-wise. The numbers have fallen off dramatically ever since.
If there is a Bond 23, look for another reboot and new 007.
