A good horror movie again? About time... Been about 20-30 years for me.

Last horror movies I liked were Friday the 13th 7 from 1988, The Ex with Yancy Butler from 1997, Elm Street 4 from 1988, etc.

So, it's been very long for me since I've seen horror I have liked.

I wasn't sure about the new It (I don't like the old one much), but since the reviews are very, very good, I will go out of my way to see it when I can.

Can't wait for tomorrow but this is disheartening. If it were (the 2nd part) to come out in one year instead of two I wouldn't feel as bad. Obviously the Lord of the Rings series had much bigger scope in all areas and managed to get them out every year. That really puts a damper on things. I just hope the movie is satisfying unto itself.

Had to wait 3 years for the original Star Wars sequels so no worries waiting on part 2. I can think of a dozen movies over the next few years that I can't wait to see. Before you know it we'll be watching part 2.

It Follows
Green Room
Get Out
Cabin in the Woods
Bone Tomahawk
28 Weeks Later
The Wolfman (although this is generally disregarded by most)
Train to Busan
The Orphanage
Let the Right One In
Let Me In
Zombieland

and if Stoker and Black Swan count, those too.

Ok, I love it but I never thought Bone Tomahawk would classify as horror.

I'm a Horror fanatic so it would take me forever to make a list of all the ones I've enjoyed the last decade or two. Let alone the past 30 years. That's a pretty good list though.
