We're lucky to be getting a big TV drama like this in UHD at all. From the looks of things, we might not even be getting Game of Thrones (the biggest TV show on the planet) in UHD for quite a long while (if ever) so we're incredibly lucky Westworld is getting a UHD release. Dolby Vision can come later once the issues have been ironed out.

I know, but when you have all the tools for DV in line you just hope for more and more DV content to come out

This release has a metal tin outside. No steelbook. Not sure what inside will be yet.

Telling of what? That DV will be dropped altogether? There's only one player and just a handful of tv sets right now that can handle DV, so it's normal that pace of DV titles' releases is still slow

The studios are obviously testing the market. Universal are using DV on some releases, not on others. Same for Lionsgate. Still a lot of time left before we know how things will shape up.

Yeah I know what you mean, but I'd rather they iron out all the issues with DV rather than rush it out. If that means waiting, then so be it. If it's gonna be done, let's have it done right.

I only have two titles in DV but I have not experienced any issues at all thus far, other than being a little annoyed by the low number of titles avaialble in DV

Some people have encountered issues like grey letterboxes and there has been some encoding issues. This is apparently why Disney didn't include Dolby Vision on Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean; they're waiting until all the issues get ironed out.
