Also picked up the latest firmware version for the 95FD yesterday (3.37) and that did not fix this issue.

So I'm still of the opinion that this "problem" is with the disc and not the hardware.

I'm more inclined to believe it's how Pioneer is decoding the track, since PCM (where the player does the decoding) plays it fine. I'd be contacting Pioneer for a firmware update.
