That's kind of what happens when the team is predicted to win 83 games and ends up winning 91, getting to within 1 game of the world series. Don't worry though...the Yanks will soon be favorites again and have more underachieving, disappointing seasons. If they can mix in a world series win here and there, I'll be happy.

If the wives asks $750 lol stupid ticket fees Could have probably held out til tomorrow and gotten cheaper but my brother Goodguy818 is also going so we pulled the trigger.

That's awesome! I'm holding out hope that the prices may go down a bit and try to get a ticket for games 3, 4 or 5 here in Houston. The bad thing is the only way tickets may go down is if we lose the first 2 games in LA. If the Astros get at least 1 win in LA then demand will go even higher.

Side note: I heard Ellen DeGeneres is going to be giving away tickets at the University of Houston today and Justin Verlander jumped in and said he would give her another pair to give away. I wonder if the tickets he gives away will be next to Kate Upton? Gimme!!

Hoping for at least 1 win in LA for my Stros. Nice to see such a nice welcome in LA, they even redid the Hollywood sign and ordered a beautiful Astros-Orange sunset at Dodger Stadium.

There seems to be a ton of hype surrounding this years World Series. Lets hope it lives up to last years series, Cubbies and Indians put on a hellva show.

Here I thought I'd still be able to catch the second half of the game given how they've been taking 4 hours on average. They flew through this game.

I think if the Astros don't win tonight, it's over. With their bullpen, they can't afford to lose games in which Keuchel and Verlander start. Plus, they don't have home field in the world series so I don't trust them going to Dodgers Stadium in an elimination scenario.

I also think tonight is a must win for my Astros. If we don't win with Verlander on the mound, we will have to find some way to win the next 3 at home. To win the WS, we have to win at least 1 game in Dodger Stadium and I don't see us winning both games 6 and 7 there. We need to have 3 wins when we next head back to LA (if we even make it that far). Lose tonight and it could be another sweep.

Had a blast at the game last night with my brother. What an experience and was lucky enough go witness a Kershaw gem.

Only downside was the hundred degree heat at first pitch lol

didn't end up the way I wanted... ughhhh..

Stripling giving up that walk to lead the 7th really messed up things.. also thought that Doc could've let Morrow try to pitch through that lead off double in the 8th.. case of overextending Jansen..

and man what a punch to the gut after tying it and have McCarthy surrender the lead again.. need at least one now in Houston although 2 would be nice!!!
