Used it twice so far. Near as I can figure -
You sign up and wait for the card to come
This activates your account, which is $10 a month to see any 2D movie you want at participating theatres. The limit is one movie a day but you can see any 2D movie you want as many times as possible as long as it's one per day.
You must have a smartphone so you can tell the app you are within 100 yards of the theatre you are checking into to see a movie.

Its not that complicated. You make sure to be within 100 yards of the theater. Make sure to have the location on the phone on. You sign into the MP ap. You select the movie you wanna see. it ads the funds to the MP MasterCard. Then from there you have 30 mins to buy your ticket. Either at the Kiosk or box office.

On my 50th film with moviepass since early September. I did not watch any of the films twice.

I'm making a list since moviepass does keep track of the films I watched (and because I feel like it)

[Show spoiler]
1.) Dunkirk
2.) Cars 3
3.) Glass Castle
4.) Wind River
5.) War For The Planet of the Apes
6.) Logan Lucky
7.) Wonder Woman
8.) IT
9.) Leap
10.) Mother!
11.) Beauty and the Beast
12.) American Assasin
13.) Despicable Me 3
14.) Spider Man Homecoming
15.) Baby Driver
16.) Atomic Blonde
17.) Lego Ninjago
18.) Mulan
19.) Columbus
20.) Hitman's Bodyguard
21.) Kingsman: The Golden Circle
22.) Menashe
23.) American Made
24.) Flatliners
25.) Viceroy's House
26.) Woodshock
27.) Walk With Me
28.) Tangled
29.) Blade Runner: The Final Cut
30.) The Mountain Between Us
31.) Blade Runner 2049
32.) Victoria and Abdul
33.) Battle of the Sexes
34.) Princess and the Frog
35.) Te ata
36.) Rebel in the Rye
37.) Professor Marston and the Wonder Woman
38.) Foreigner
39.) Happy Death Day
40.) Brave
41.) My Little Pony: The movie
42.) Only the Brave
43.) Same Kind of Different as Me
44.) Lucky
45.) Walking Out
46.) Florida Project
47.) The Snowman
48.) Geostorm
49.) Suburbicon
50.) Thank You For Your Service

Other films I did not used moviepass for at the time I had it (theater issues at the time or for doing a double feature). Honestly I find it hard to complain paying for a few considering how many films I watched already.

1.) An Inconvenient Sequel
2.) A Silent Voice
3.) Mark Felt: The man who brought down the White House

If you can't tell, that $20 has quite a bit of mileage it seems.

I'm really hoping that it'll still stick around, but I'd honestly be happy to pay $40-50 a month on it since even then it's still be an insane value.

Really? No cell phone? Not even an old Nokia that only needs to be charged and nice a year. Can I ask why? No judgment but I would be lost/scared if something happened.

You paid to see an Inconvenient Sequel? Voluntarily?

With that film, there was an issue at the time when I was using moviepass, so I bought the ticket out of pocket and requested a refund through their chat feature and email. I didn't get the refund unfortunately and just got an automated message that told me nothing. Again, I find it hard to complain considering how many films I watched already.

That being said, that film definitely isn't worth paying for, considering how deceptive that film was, but then again, too many people in the media present climate change in such a doomsday scenario that we need to dump trillions on to it for some reason.

Read what actual scientists say. It wouldn’t take much to go over the tipping point. Scientists > internet experts

I don't know but I think I have been flagged by my local Regal. Everytime I come there as soon as I walk thru the door I hear the ticket guy call for a manager to watch the transaction. This all started when I started using moviepass. I don't understand what is going on. All these transactions are legal and I am not screen hoping... Weird.

Like you said, you arent doing anything wrong, so let them waste their time watching. you buy a ticket and pay for it with a mastercard.

Saw Jigsaw today and how no problem. I mean besides my phone not connecting to the wifi and then I had to log out the ap and try it again and then it worked. So yeah, but not complaining.

I saw 11 movies this month.

Use a kiosk vs. the box office. Has worked for me 53 times since July.

While I haven't either, it's probably best for that poster if he/she feels they're being targeted.

I mainly use the kiosks because there usually isn't a line.
