Ended up grabbing this at BB. They had five and all had serious dings on the metal tin except for one. My local BB's have officially gotten rid of their movie section. They had a couple kiosks with the new releases and a tiny section with the video games and that's it. It's a sad day for browsers like me.

The new Best Buy design is more open and modern. Seem to be SO MANY employees and so few customers. Anyhow, the store looks nice, but I haven't put any time into exploring. Media area is pretty small, but adequate. Unfortunately, they hide movie displays in two or more places in the store that are separated. Does it have to be an Easter egg hunt? The Magnolia "theater room" isn't quite the dedicated theater set-up I'd hoped for. I could have advised them as to what to do. |

![]() Not my pic (Thanks go to Optimus), but it is indicative of what I got. The “Employee Booklet”’and the episode inlay Card fit nicely on top of the BD case. Quote:
The AVC encode appears to have a comparatively low compression rate (approx. 18 Mbps), so “off the bat” the HEVC has a better chance of improved fine details, not just because of the inherent 2K-4K upscale. Also, the 1080p has a DTS-HD MA 5.1 that sounds less than stellar from what I’ve heard. Again, fairly compressed 2.1 Mbps average (hovers around there on my Sony info with minor fluctuations). I can’t decode Atmos, but the Dolby TrueHD 7.1 core would sound better (it’s an improvement over DTS lossless on Game of Thrones). On the 1080p discs, it adds insult to injury when at start-up, the WB logo with the piano music sounds awesome in Dolby TrueHD 7.1 (and the megabit ticker jumps to 6-7Mbps). Is probably Atmos based, but either way, the logo has never sounded better. Would have been nice for both 4K UHD & BD to share the Atmos track. To summarise, it seems sad that the 1080pBD has not received the same attention it deserved... Especially where AQ is concerned. I don’t understand why the 2160pBD gets exclusivity to the Dolby Atmos track, when I’m positive Atmos could have fit onto the 50GB 1080p discs. With an 18Mbps average AVC encode (running over 3 hours) should leave heaps of room... Even with 3 alt language lossy’s and a couple of 1080i/60 Extras. I’m glad UHD on TV was coming. But not at the expense of 1080p Blu-Ray quality. Will be interested to see what the Blu-Ray.com reviews have to say. |

Can someone verify what I've found trying to redeem the digital copy? Looks like only real option to redeem this code is via VUDU? WB shows a redemption option for Movies Anywhere, but it doesn't seem to work. Probably as expected, as this is not technically a "movie".

WB is the most notorious studio for this. They used to include Atmos tracks on all 3D discs, but have since pulled them since for all new releases. I believe Fox, and Universal are the other studios doing this. |

The extras are in 1080i? All of them? Will be very disappointed if that's the case. The amount of extras is not insubstantial. I wish that all the extras had gone onto a fourth disc, so that they could really give the encodes room to breathe, maximizing the bitrate and the disc space for the episodes. Yeah. I'm anxious now to have a detailed look for myself once Amazon decides to ship my set... |

Love the HDR and WCG on this. The resolution will not blow anyone away, but the contrast, and the density and detail in the colors is very nice, and combines to add a lot of dimensionality to the image.
