Are you serious!!? Any chance of Tommy being shown in complete form? I'll be getting it either way.

When it comes to The Who - I wanna see Albert Hall 2000 and Kids Are Alright on Blu the most.

As far as a recommendation - if you like Foo Fighters, the Live at Wembley disc is awesome. So is Shakira's Oral Fixation Tour Blu-Ray.

The Who at Kilburn 1977 is for serious Who fans only.

Nine Inch Nails - Beside You In Time is quite amazing.

Robbie Williams - Live at the Royal Albert Hall - crisp image, great sound. Was a great surprise for me.

These are very different shows, though, one is industrial rock and the other swing..

Default Jimi Hendrix???

Anyone see either Hendrix blus? Just wondering which one, if not both to get. I really am interested in mostly Monterey, But the Woodstock footage is incredible as well. Just curious as to which one has the best PQ.

REALLY hope to see more RUSH on Blu as well. Either 'Rush in Rio' or 'R30' would be awesome. Just finished watching Rush live from Berlin (from the R30 tour) on the Palladia channel and it looked great in 1080i, Would love to see it in 1080p =) Also the last Nine Inch Nails Tour would be amazing in Blu as well. Saw NIN live ths past summer and it was one of the best light shows and live performances I have ever witnessed.

Pretty sure My wife got me Foo Fighters and The Police on blu for Christmas so I have that to look forward to =)

I have Jimi Hendrix Live at Monteray on Blu. The SQ is great. The PQ is not so great. It's 1.33:1 plus it being 41 years old, it's not the best quality. It is an excellent concert though.

I'd love to see/hear the Woodstock performance on Blu. If you get that one let me know what you think.

will do. I have to research that a bit more. I was going to pick up the Hendrix at Monterrey but after reading too many 'pq not very good at all' i decided against it.

BTW I picked up the Foo FIghters BLU and was slightly disappointed, Not with the PQ or AQ which are REALLY good, But disappointed with the Set List and the lack of any extras. I mean it's the biggest concert they have EVER played, shouldn't there be some sort of documentary or featurette??

I've seen the foo's many times and thought with the vast catalog they have they could have made better choices. for instance I don't think they included one song from their first cd And some of the rockers I love, Dave played completely or almost completely acoustic. Kind of a letdown, maybe it's just me..

I have maybe close to 100 concerts dvd/bd's and the best i have is Keane Live from the O2 stadium in London, very nice pq/aq.
If your not into Keane try the new album "Perfect Symmetry", one of the best albums i own.
Also like Elton 60,nice pq/aq and Elton Red Piano but not so great pq there but a nice show in Vegas.
Gonna watch Rush - Snakes & Arrows today,it got top scores here i see.
Shakira is also great.

The Police "Certifiable" in Bueno Aires. Filmed with HD cameras, absolutely drop dead gorgeous imaging and room shaking audio.

I saw Beyonce the experience on direct tv and though it's only 1080i it looked great. Imma plan on ordering it, thinking of getting Shakira, John Mayer, maybe Mariah. I got Destiny's Child. All I wanna know is that if Madonna's confessions on a dance floor tour is coming out. I have it on DVD and it is amazing, I wanna see it in 1080 and not in upscaled form =\

I am definatley a fan of The Police: Certifiable, it seems with the aging in his voice the lyrical depth Sting preaches hits home a little harder than it did in his youth and the video is top notch.

On the flip side, I love Pink Floyd to death but David Gilmour: Remebering the Night is horrific in picture quality and a majority of the songs while technically proficent, just dont captivate to keep watching the concert.

First of all, its "Remember That Night".

Secondly, it wasn't PQ reference quality to be sure, but it wasn't "horrific" either.

Thirdly, David Gilmour is David Gilmour. If you were expecting a complete Pink Floyd concert (which I think you did) of course you're going to feel less "captivated".

I think that this is one of the best BD releases so far from a concert BD perspective. I thought it was great that David Crosby, Graham Nash and David Bowie were a part of it. They added another dimension which was different, but very well executed. I enjoyed it tremendously.

I totally agree i bought this concert and i watched it once .1/10 of it looks blu-ray and the rest is SH*t.

You gotta love those dark scenes. How can someone say this is Good PQ ,unless this is there first and only blu-ray concert?

I finally got ahold of my copy of "Within Temptation- Black Symphony", and WOW!! It truly is an amazing mix. The sound options are great, 2.1 or 5.1 PCM DD 5.1 or DTS 24/96. I listened to both the 5.1 PCM and DTS tracks, and the mix is fantastic. It's also an interesting concert visually as well. For those that don't know, Within Temptation is a Goth-Rock band from the Netherlands, and the singer has a very captivating voice. When combined with the orchestra, the music takes on a new and very exciting element. The sound is powerful and draws you in. When listening there is a true feeling of being there live, and watching the show, with the costume, pagentry, and visuals. The video is strong, although maybe not quite demo material, as I believe it's presented in 1080i, but very good. The lighting is fantastic, and the presentation is top notch.

Someone here, can't remember who, compared this concert to "Evanescence". I would say that the comparison is fair, but this is truly a wonderful experience that should be had by all. Definitely a great blind-buy for me.
